Looking Back: LTFC Successfully Concludes 2026 S1 Summer Bridging Programme

This past August, Lam Tai Fai College successfully concluded its 2026 Secondary 1 Summer Bridging Programme, welcoming the incoming S1 cohort into the LTFC family. Designed to ease the transition from primary school, the comprehensive multi-day orientation provided students with a strong foundation in academic preparation, creative thinking, physical wellness, and school culture.

Throughout the programme, students participated in foundational workshops across Visual Arts, Innovation & Technology, Physical Education and Humanities, helping them adapt to secondary-level learning methods and instruction.

Beyond classroom learning, the programme focused on social integration and character building. Guided by dedicated class teachers and senior student prefects, the new S1 students completed campus tours and team-building exercises. The mentorship of their senior "big brothers and sisters" helped the newcomers build early friendships and feel thoroughly supported as they adjusted to their new environment.

The programme wrapped up with a memorable Closing Ceremony attended by parents and teachers. Demonstrating their newfound unity, the S1 students joined together to sing the LTFC school song, marking the official start of their secondary journey.

With the August bridging programme now complete, the S1 cohort has smoothly transitioned into the new academic year equipped with study skills, lasting friendships, and a proud sense of belonging.
