STEAM Week Sparks Innovation at LTFC

Lam Tai Fai College's annual STEAM Week once again captivated students with a dynamic mix of hands-on activities that seamlessly blended science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Notably, participants built their own DIY Camera Obscura to discover the wonders of light and optics, programmed Scratch animations to vividly bring classic Chinese poetry to life, enjoyed thrilling rounds of VR Dodgeball, and competed in an exciting Drone Balloon Shootout using LiDAR to navigate and locate virtual targets in mapped 3D spaces. The week also featured an intense AI Racing Car Time Attack, where students trained artificial intelligence models to achieve the fastest lap times, and concluded with an inspiring visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Museum of Climate Change — the world's only museum dedicated to climate science, environmental protection, and polar research.
