Lam Tai Fai College Lauded as an "Advanced School" in the Whole School Health Programme

The Department of Health released its inaugural School Health Reports & Recommendations, tailored to each school participating in the Whole School Health Programme (WSHP) on August 19.

Among the 808 participating schools in the 2024/25 academic year, Lam Tai Fai College was recognized as one of the 11 outstanding "Advanced Schools."

This accolade highlights Lam Tai Fai College's commitment to implementing the World Health Organization's Health Promoting School Framework. Our school actively integrates the four main themes of health promotion—physical activity, healthy eating, mental health, and social health—into the curriculum, while also improving campus facilities and environment to encourage students to exercise more and eat healthily.

Additionally, our school has proactively established health-focused policies, provided staff training on health themes, engaged parents and community partners, and shared its strategies with other schools to promote a healthy environment for the benefit of all.
