Celebrating the Excellence of our athletic Alumni at USFHK Annual Prize Presentation Ceremony
The recent USFHK Annual Prize Presentation Ceremony was a remarkable celebration of talent, dedication, and achievement, highlighting the extraordinary accomplishments of athletes from various tertiary education institutions in Hong Kong. This annual gathering brings together talented individuals who have excelled in a diverse array of sports.
This year's event shone a spotlight on three exceptional athletes who have not only made their alma mater proud, but have also significantly contributed to their respective sports.
Pau Yik Man, a dedicated table tennis athlete currently studying at City University, has been recognized as one of the most valuable players at this year’s ceremony.
Another shining star of the evening was Tse Yee Lam Toby, a talented squash athlete from CUHK who recently clinched a silver medal at the 2024 FISU World University Championships Squash.
Among gifted Karatedo athletes, Lo Sum Man from City University has been nominated as one of the USFHK Sportswoman of the Year due to her exceptional accomplishments.
Lastly, we celebrate Ting Kin Sing Kinson, a remarkable wushu athlete studying at the University of Science and Technology. Kinson’s impressive bronze medal win at the 2024 Asia University Wushu Championships in the men’s optional Nangun category is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
As we celebrate their remarkable accomplishments, let us also encourage the next generation of students to pursue their passions and strive for greatness. Their success serves as a beacon of inspiration for all, reminding us that with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.
Congratulations once again to Pau, Tse, Lo and Ting —your achievements make us proud!
