Chinese Cultural Day 2021
As a means to promote Chinese culture, our first Chinese Cultural Day was held for junior and senior form students on 7th July and 8th July respectively.
The competition was categorised into inter-class, inter-house, and e-sports divisions, so as to ensure all students of the school would be given the opportunity to participate.
The e-sports division was held on the KAHOOT platform. Students who took part in this division had to use their iPads to submit immediate responses, which called for their quick reaction and cultural knowledge.
A number of honoured guests were invited to join our first Chinese Cultural Day. Among the guests were the School Supervisor, Mr. Lam Tai Fai, Dr. Ding Xinbao from CUHK, Dr. Ip Sum Ming from the EDB, and Mr. Yip Wharlee, director of the Academy of Chinese Studies. Mr. Lam expressed his gratitude to the guests for attending the event, with special thanks to Dr. Din, who had taken the time out of his busy schedule to participate in the activity and get to engage our students. Mr. Lam also praised the enthusiasm of our students, and encouraged them to value and be more appreciative of the Chinese culture.
