Partnership School Programme
Ambassador Appointment Ceremony cum Meeting with School Supervisor

On top of nurturing our students to be straight-A students, Lam Tai Fai College (LTFC) is strive to develop our learners’ multiple intelligence. The Partnership School Programme (PSP) in cooperation with Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) offers a unique school curriculum specially designed for local elite student athletes.

On 8 May, the 2020-2021 PSP Ambassador Appointment Ceremony was held at school. It was our great honour to have officiating guests Dr. Lam Tai Fai, our School Supervisor, and Dr. Trisha Leahy, Chief Executive of the HKSI, together with some significant figures including Mr. Tam Yat Yuk (School Principal, LTFC), Mr. Tony Choi (Deputy Chief Executive, HKSI), Mr. Ron Lee (Director, Community Relations and Marketing, HKSI), Mr. Tony Lai (Director of Sports Development, LTFC), and Ms. Regina Chan (Athlete Affairs Manager, HKSI) with us in the ceremony. 14 athletes who are LTFC alumni or students were appointed as the ambassadors. They are all exceptional sportsmen in various sports such as cycling, fencing, karate, table tennis, et cetera. The ceremony kicked off their duties as an ambassador to promote and give advice to student athletes that aspire to excel in dual foci.

Our school believes that academic excellence and talent development should go hand-in-hand. We look forward to opening up more choices and opportunities to local athletes and we are confident that we can bring up more budding athletes in the future.
