Signing the Healthy School Charter of the Centre for Health Education and

Health Promotion, CUHK

On 3rd November 2014, our Principals, teachers, parents, student representatives and administrative staff gathered at the School Hall to sign the Healthy School Charter produced by the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion (CHEP), The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

CHEP, chaired by our School Manager Professor Albert Lee, aims to co-ordinate Health Education and Promotion programmes and research through education and empowerment of the key stakeholders in partnership across different disciplines beyond boundary of the health sector.

By signing the Healthy School Charter, parents, students, teachers and staff at LTFC agree to adopt a whole-school approach to promoting school-based health promoting activities and implementing measures in order to establish a safe, harmonious, active and eco-friendly school environment.

Upon signing the Charter, all of us pledged to lead a healthy lifestyle. A series of activities will be held in the Health Month in November to spread health knowledge and promote proper practices in various aspects.
