The 5th Hong Kong Primary Schools Table-tennis Invitation Championships was held on February 6th & 9th February, 2010 in Lam Tai Fai College. As a golden opportunity to gather all young and promising table-tennis players all over Hong Kong to participate in this annual competition, we have received an overwhelming response of over 90 entries this year.
 
 
The Preliminary Round took place on 6th February in our School Hall and Gymnasium, with 16 teams selected for the final match on 9th February, competing for the Gold Cup and Silver Plate. Despite of their young age, the participants displayed their excellent techniques and extreme focus during the competition, as if they were professional table-tennis players. The support and encouragement from coaches and teammates, together with the parents, who were watching LIVE-broadcast in classrooms, had made the event both an exciting and warm-hearted occasion for everyone.

We are honoured to have Mr Yue Kwok Leung, MH, JP (Chairman of Hong Kong Table Tennis Association), Mr Yeung Hoi Cheung (Chairman of Primary School Sports Council, HKSSF) and Ms Mok Ka Sha (Coach of LTFC Table-tennis Team) our honourable guests in the prize presentation ceremony. Their advice and support to the competition have been a huge encouragement to the sports development in our school.
