Run with the Heart 毅力十二愛心跑

Our School Supervisor, Dr Hon Lam Tai Fai, BBS, JP & Mrs Lam, members of PTA, Principal, Teachers and Students gave their enthusiastic support to the charity marathon for the HK Elite Athletes Association --- "Run with Your Heart" on 31-12-2009

To express our love and care for the needy and arouse the awareness of young hearts to serve the community, parents, Principal, teachers and students took part in the "Run with Your Heart", a 12-hour Relay Run, on the New Year Eve, December 31, 2009 (from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight) at the Athletic Track at the Shatin Sportsground.

"Run with Your Heart" is a charity event founded by the Friends of HKSI in 1998. The event does not only endeavour to raise fund for the Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association, but also intend to create a caring atmosphere in the society.

"Run with Your Heart" is truly a meaningful fund-raising event. To support this Charity Run, Lam Tai Fai College has invited parents, teachers and students to join in support of this worthy cause --- we have sponsored our 2 Charity Run Participation Teams, one id made up of parents and the other composed of teachers and students. It is our greatest pleasure to have the gracious support of our school supervisor, Hon Dr Lam Tai Fai, BBS, JP, Mrs Lam and the chairlady of PTA, Mrs May Chan to be with us in the gathering. Their presence has greatly encouraged our running teams. By participating in a charity run by parents, teachers and students, it echoes fully with and lives up to the expectation of the saying that 'Charity begins at home'.
