LTFC is a Direct Subsidy School which endeavours to nurture and develop young people’s potentials in preparation for the rapid changes in society. Our school’s unique vision and mission of providing an all-round quality education is recognized by renowned institutions both local & overseas.

As our school does not participate in the Central Allocation Scheme of the Education Bureau, we take in all JS1 students through interviews to be conducted at our school. In light of this, we welcome applications from across the territory.

1. Application forms and the school information can be obtained through the following methods:
2. By post – send an A4 size self-addressed stamped (HK$8.2) envelope to the General Office, please state “Request for Application Forms for S1 Admission” on the envelope
3. In person – visit the General Office during office hours (Mon - Fri: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sat: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

Information on Application報名須知

1. The completed application form should be submitted in person or by post to 親身或郵寄遞交申請表:

   地址：。 新界沙田銀城街25號 林大輝中學
2. Opening hours: From Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m to 5:30 p.m) and Saturday (9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m) except on Public Holidays.
   遞交中一入學申請表時間 : 為星期一至星期五上午九時至下午五時三十分，星期六上午九時至下午一時，公眾假期除外。
3. Please enclose copies of the following documents 遞交申請表時，請附下列證明文件之影印副本
   1. Photocopy of student’s birth certificate (學生之出生證明副本)；
   2. Photocopy of student’s HKID card (學生之身分證副本)；
   3. Photocopy of Primary 5 yearly school report (小五全年成績表副本)；
   4. Photocopy of Primary 6 mid-year school report (小六上學期成績表副本)；
   5. Photocopy of Primary 6 Identification Form issued by EDB (由教育局發出之小六學生證副本)；
   6. Principal’s Recommendation Letter from current school, if any (校長推薦信，如有)；
   7. Other relevant documents showing student’s academic or non-academic achievements, if any (學業及課外活動證明，亦可交予 本校) ---certificates and awards not bigger than A4 size如證書或獎狀等，尺寸不超出A4。
4. A non-refundable application fee of HK$50 by crossed cheque (made payable to “Lam Tai Fai College”) with the student applicant’s name at the back of the cheque should be submitted with this application form.
   遞交申請表請連同HK$50報名費之劃線支票（報名費恕不退回，抬頭請書「林大輝中學」），支票背面須寫上申請學生姓名。
5. Enclose 4 self-addressed and stamped (each HK$1.4) envelopes of size 9”W x 4”H with the applicant’s name and address
   附上4個分別貼上$1.4郵票及寫上申請人姓名地址之回郵信封，9吋x4吋。
6. Time and place for interview will be announced later.
   面試時間及地點將另行通知。
7. The school will notify successful applicants in writing.
   獲得取錄之申請人將由學校書面通知。
8. Annual school fee for Secondary 1 (2010-2011) is about $20,000 (subject to EDB approval)
   二零一零至二零一一年度中一學費約為全年二萬元（有待教育局批准）。
9. According to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to access and amend personal data provided in the application form.
   根據 «個人資料(私隱)條例 »，你有權查閱或更改所提供的個人資料。
10. Requests for access to and amendment of personal data should be made in writing and sent to Lam Tai Fai College
    如須查閱或更改個人資料，請以書面提出並寄往林大輝中學。
