Marching Band won The Overall Champion in The Hong Kong International Youth Marching Band Competition 2012
The Hong Kong International Youth Marching Band Competition 2012 was held in Sha Tsui Road Playground on 1st July and 2nd July 2012. This competition is sanctioned by the World Association of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB), and is adjudicated by a panel of WAMSB accredited judges to ensure a high standard of judging.
Our Marching Band has joined the "Marching Show Bands Competition – Local bands (Senior Category)" and won the following prizes:
-The Overall Champion (總冠軍) -The First Prize (第一名) -The Best Woodwinds (最佳木管樂) -The Best Brass (最佳銅管樂) -The Best Music Effect (最佳音樂效果) -The Best Show Design (最佳步操花式效果)
Moreover, they have also gained the qualifications to represent Hong Kong to enter the "International Youth Marching Show Bands Competition (Final)" on 2nd July. It will be the first time for the Band to participate in an international competition.
Fact file of LTFC Marching Band The Band was established in November 2010. We have around 30 members and most of them are junior students. We offer a variety of instrumental training courses, such as winds and percussion instruments, to our members.
Last year, we performed in several school functions like the Athletics Meets, Swimming Gala, Information Day and Fashion Show. In this academic year, we have performed in large shopping malls such as the Megabox and Mikiki.
 
  Congratulations to our Marching Band students on winning The Overall Champion, The First Prize, The Best Woodwinds, The Best Brass, The Best Music Effect and The Best Show Design in The Hong Kong International Youth Marching Band Competition 2012.
