It was a heartening and uplifting experience on 12 January 2007 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in our school hall for our students. They spent an intimate afternoon with the celebrated local athlete, Ms Yip Pui Yin, the Silver Medalist of 2006 Doha Asian Games, Badminton Women's Single.

In the first session, Ms Yip shared with the students the life of an athlete. She also talked about how demanding a professional athlete could be. Students overwhelmed her with questions on being a Hong Kong born athlete. The second session was friendly matches with students, teachers and the reporters from the local newspapers. The audience was really amazed by the superb technique of Ms Yip.

May this be the budding of more local athlete.
