The Hong Kong Arts Development Awards, an annual highlight in arts and culture in the city, honours outstanding artists and arts organizations for their achievements and commends schools, organizations and individuals for their zeal and commitment in art and arts education. The Award Scheme comprises seven categories, namely Life Achievement Award, Award for Outstanding Contribution in Arts, Artist of the Year, Award for Young Artist, Award for Arts Education including School Division and Non-School Division, the Award for Arts Promotion and the Award for Arts Sponsorship.

After being awarded the Certificate of Merit for Arts Education in Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2012, the “Pegasus” Art Education Scheme launched by our Arts Education KLA has won the Award for Arts Education (School Division) in Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2014 again. The scheme comprises six major arts and design disciplines: photography, illustration, glass art, shoes and bag design, fashion design and murals. The Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2014 Presentation Ceremony, organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), was held on 24th April 2015 at the Grand Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; Mr.Tsang Tak-sing, Secretary for Home Affairs; Dr. Wong Ying-wai, Wilfred, Chairman of the HKADC and Vice-chairman Ms. Yan Hau-yee, Lina.

The TV episode, Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2014 Presentation Ceremony, will be broadcast at 8:30pm on 23rd May 2015 (Saturday) via RTHK TV31. A special edition of the episode will be broadcast at 7:00pm on 3rd June 2015 (Wednesday) via TVB Jade and RTHK TV31. Live broadcast and an archive of the TV episode will be available on the RTHK website (tv.rthk.hk) and in the "RTHK Screen" app.
